They are right about the mod motors costing more to rebuild. I saw on ebay the other day that the cam chains and gears cost about $450-$500. I haven't even checked into what the heads are going to cost to be rebuilt. I plan on hopefully only having to put rings, bearings, chains, gaskets and heads ...

Great...1969 Mustang perhaps. Can anyone confirm? It seems that the most efficient way to do this would be to get one that doesn't automatically require the extra work/trial and error given that one that is a bolt in evidently exists and I'm sure would be approx the same price as would units requiri...

What specific version of the 8 lug wheels do you have? If you have the inward facing hubcap holders and the rims are of the non-split retainer ring-equipped version, I am interested in purchasing them. Please advise. pjacques@wcu.edu

master cylinder bolt in swap(?)
Folks, I know we've written about putting in a dual master at length. Two questions: 1) I drive a lot of old cars that have had brake line rust and when I step on the pedal when, unbeknownst to me that there is a rusted line, it goes right to the floor - this is on dual master cylinder equipped cars...

y-block fuel filter wrench availability
Hi, all....I have a typical y-block engine-driven fuel pump with the fuel filter tucked in an aluminum canister which is threaded to the fuel pump. There are three indentations, equally spaced on the bottom of the canister on the outer periphery of the cannister which seems to suggest that there is ...

Ooops...hang on a sec...according to m there was no Corinthian White in '64. That info (i.e., no Corinthian White) is consistent with that on this website also: m, According to the first website listed, Corinthian White DID exist in '63, however. The color codes that would seemingly come closest to ...

'64 what was the OEM color for wheels?
The sales literature I have suggests that the color was a flavor of white. What I'm looking for is the exact color code. I would guess the color was actually Wimbledon White, but I'm not at all sure of that. If you have input, could you please also provide your source? Thanks. - Paul

take however long you think it'll take to do the job and multiply it by 50. I am not exaggerating much if at all. As the other posters have said, blasting is a dirty, sloooooooooow job. As the other posts have said, this crap will get EVERYWHERE and especially get to places it shouldn't (embed itsel...

These threads always contain a chuckle or two. There are three so far that are products of some sort of dreams. The 223 - 6 was a rather efficient powerplant and you should get hi teens w/it. Maybe a bit more. Ditto the 240 - 6. The Y's were not that efficient in comparison and you'll do well to get...
