That's correct. Gladstone is just across the river from Oregon City.

Here's my brother's 61. He's chopped the top, laid the windshield back, and made a tail gate. http://i106.photobucket.com/albums/m265/RlCHARD-CRANlUM/truck/P1030535.jpg http://i106.photobucket.com/albums/m265/RlCHARD-CRANlUM/truck/P1030532.jpg It's still a work in progress.

My 292 is still in the truck, but I expect a very similar sight awaits me when I tear it down.

Either the voltage regulator went, or the generator went, and took the voltage regulator with it. I had a similar problem with my 62 292. The light came on, I revved up the motor, and the light went out. Eventually it came back on for good. I ended up with a rebuilt generator and new voltage regulat...

All of the ram horn manifolds I've seen that had a bar across them were Lincoln.. I'm not sure when they stopped putting the 368 Lincoln in the big slicks, but most I've seen were 61-63.

I tried to buy a 64 Chinook up in Washington a few years ago. If they made them in 64, odds are in your favor for a 63.

I've got a rebuilt 292, .40 over with ECZ-G heads and intake. We're in the process of building a house, so the shop is filled with furniture. I'm trying to figure out how to get it done soon.

No lift with 36 inch tires. I haven't hit the fenders yet, but I don't hammer it off road either.

I found some scans from some old timey 35mm photos. They are of a 65 F-100 Ranger I had back in 1989. It was a 352 automatic, with 98k miles. It even had dealer installed A/C. I ended up selling it to my brother, who put it on a 76 F-100 4x4 frame before losing it in his divorce. http://i106.photobu...

I think the wheelbase difference is 2 inches between the uni and the stock 4x4. On the 4x4 the front is an inch back, and the rear is an inch forward. Not sure why they did that. I'm not sure what king of frame contour issues may come up either.

RC, I'm not anywhere near an authority regarding older or NAPCO 4x4s, so I have to ask: What are you talking about? BarnieTrk I'm no expert either. But of the few Napco conversions I've seen, they were all passenger side drop axles (the differential is on the passenger side of the axle) Follow this...

Shouldn't a Napco conversion be passenger side drop? It looks like a run of the mill F-100 4x4 to me. Poor picture quality, but that rear axle looks five lug. There's a 64 F-350 Napco 4x4 not far from that my wife won't let me buy.
