Ok - now I'm gonna need this explained.

I am not a smoker, so my cigarette lighter isn't going to get any use. I'm building a console on the hump, so I will be running a power outlet over there - but I'd like to re-claim the dash space. Has anyone put a different accessory in the spot? I'm thinking of turning it into a push-button for bed...
