modern window glass I believe has to meet to D.O.T standards and is a heck of alot safer than 1960's windows. Probably alot better for heating and cooling too.

yeah i thought about that myself. they are just dented enough to be noticeable. i'm hoping the primer and paint may actually cover them up.

valve cover dents

can anyone tell if their is a filler or high build engine primer. I have some small dings and dents on my powered by ford valve covers and would like to paint and reuse them. thanks :)

engine cleaning

any tips or tricks to simplify engine cleaning? also what do you use to clean an aluminum manifold. I have my 352 on on the stand and it is taking forever to clean.

front spring question

i know this has been answerd before but i cannot find the thread. can somebody give me step by step directions on how to remove the springs and the rest of the front end parts on a 65 f-100 seeing as how ive never done this. I have the body and the engine off and all the steering components are off....

this sure isnt helping dealerships. my friend is a salesman and the gov promised payment within 2 weeks. they have been told they dont know when they will be paid. this has also negatively affected the auto repair business

Thats true. if I'm on a budget i might just keep the 352. it already has a edelbrock manifold and carb and some other performance parts. core charge is about $300 and some places wont do it at all without one. anyway thanks guys

can anyone tell me where i can buy a 351 windsor new or remanufactured without a core charge. I cant afford a crate motor i just want a stock motor that i can add a couple horse power to. Every auto parts place flip out when I tell them i dont have one to trade in. I tell them i could give them a 35...
