coming right along, being snowed in makes time for lots of elbow grease. got the frame cleaned up, front clip media blasted and primered. working on putting the front cab mounts in now.

as far as i know, all our roads are open. i think they got all the power back on too.

did they make any srw 4x4 1-tons in 64? there is one listed in the paper and when i called, i got the owners grandson and told him how to see if it has a dana 44 front end and he found the markings. he sais all the emblems were gone off the body. would the 1-ton, if they made one, have the dana 60? ...

yeah, i couldnt trade it for anything. i love the snow and i found a GREAT hotspot for northern pike when the lakes freeze. here before too long it will be "gone ice fishin" every weekend! lol

boiled linseed oil is what i use on my trailers and you can get that at most hardware stores. i will be using that on my wood bed floor as well. it does have a strong odor for a while until it soaks in.

the only thing is, the front end on the one in st louie doesnt look to be a 4x4? or am i missing something?

we did alright, beer and scrabble! the old 64 goes like a tank. 13" and drifts of 20+ feet and 85 mph wind= beer and scrabble.....lol

yeah, the wrongbed kinda grew on me too but then i found the flareside and the long wide matches my 60 perfect. nice truck by the way!

yeah, i like the looks of the flareside . it just looks more vintage to me. kinda brings back the old fat fender look. the old wide long box looks great on the 60 too. if i can figure out how to post pics on the album , i will.
