Doc..if you use your welder as little as you say check out the wire any rust can cause problems when you are welding. .just a thought. .here in Iowa lots of humidity. .lots of rust

First thing I would do is pull the fuel line at the carb and then have someone crank it over. If you've got fuel then it's the carb if not then go on to the filter or the pump. Before I would change the pump I would pull the fuel line and make sure that the line is not plugged. Just my thoughts.. Go...

Roc, Welcome from Sioux City Iowa, your slick looks great!! I have a 66 short box red and white in color, 6 cylinder 4 speed, mine came from Arkansas so there is very little rust. Again if you can come to the heartland for SLICKSTOCK. Wonderful truck!!! Later Randy
