Not a concern for me (My column had a crappy Autozone special mounted on it), but they do have a "Ford Style" column available. I have custom bucket seats. Because they sit a bit higher than the original bench, I decided to go with an aftermarket wheel. Ford Style: The All New Floor Shift ...

http://www.buyididitsteeringcolumnsonline.com/?gclid=CIbB8buO_qYCFYHu7QodER7zcg I asked for a quote for the following parts (I have a 66, but it has the Saginaw gearbox instead of the...

Well, I had a guy at a salvage yard try to charge me $495 for a "rebuilt" 79/PWS/Tilt/Floor shift column. It would have been $295 if I'd had a core to exchange. It didn't help that the guy was a total D-bag to me, trying to tell me that there is "no such thing as a Saginaw gear box in...

I feel your pain brother. City inspector cited my slick as a "Junk" vehicle that I had to either move off my property of hide behind a fence or in a building... I ended up fighting it in court after looking up their own laws and finding a couple loopholes. Essentially they gave me a couple...

O.. just realized.. you said you NEEDED it... so forget that I said about the extratcion kit... Do you care about the alternator? If not... use a cutting wheel along the outside of the tunnel that the bolt runs thru, then either heat the area with a torch, or take a cold chisel and hammer and tap ta...

I look at it this way... Every manufacturer has build quality issues at one time or another.. no one company is immune to it. they all eat their own BS and drink their own Kool-Aid when it comes to how they think the "best" cars should be made. And just about every manufacturer manages to ...
