I picked up a set from someone else on this list a couple years ago. I will look to see if I can find their contact information for you.

If you have a decent radiator shop in your area, they can usually repair heater cores as well.
Give them a try.

I got it to turn on as designed, and I took shipwrecked on its shakedown drive thru the neighborhood. To do: Install new speedometer cable Wire housekeeping Brake adjustment Steering alignment ...

Re: stock suspension parts needed
Well, I have a set of lowering beams on my '66, but still have the stock springs.
How much lower is the front with both the beams and the cut springs.?
I might be interested in swapping the front springs.
Thanks!

YAY... IT IS GONE!!!
Local salvage yard just came and picked it up and hauled it off.
And now a lot of pieces and parts that I kept will live on in my restoration project.

Rusted out / Bare Hulk / Parts truck - For Free - You haul
I have finally pulled everything I want out/off of the '66 parts truck that I have. What's left is an almost a bare hulk of a longbed F-100. Minimal rust on the passenger front fender, bottom of drivers front fender was cut to remove rusted mounting bolts. Cab floor has rusted through to daylight at...

Re: It‘s shot. I‘m shot.
She is spewing out oil, apparently from the rear main seal. The tranny is shot. The diff is shot. The clutch has 80,000+ miles on it. The doors are shot. The roof is shot. The floor is shot. The steering is shot. The seat is shot. The multiple rebuilt engine has 140,000 miles on the last overhaul. ...

Re: Ranger pickups
There is going to be an upcoming feature in Vintage Truck Magazine of the Ranger package offered in the 65/66 Ford pickups. Loren Hoekema from Vintage Truck is looking to talk to someone from this forum about these pickups. Is there anyone willing to talk to Loren over the phone to give him more in...

Choke assembly and/or hot idle linkage and brackets
I am looking for either a full choke assembly, the hot idle brackets and linkages from a choke assembly, or an old Autolite carburetor (non-functional) with this assembly included on it. I am reconditioning an Autolite 4100 for my '66, and am missing some of the choke pieces. These pieces should be ...

Slick scale plastic model kits
I just found some 1/25 Scale Plastic Model Kits of two different Slicks at a local hobby shop.
A 1965 Custom Cab Styleside and a 1966 F-100 Flareside.
These kits are made by Moebius Models.

Re: Swapping out an "MX" transmission for a C4
I don't believe that there is a stock bell housing for a C-4 that will bolt to a FE engine. You will have better luck finding a C-6 transmission out of a car or truck. They are way stronger and more plentiful than a C-4. Plus no adapter is needed and maybe need to move the stock cross member just a...

Swapping out an "MX" transmission for a C4
I have a chance to get a C4 tranny from a '68 Mustang. I currently have an MX tranny in my '66 w/ a 352. Is it worth my time and trouble to do a tranny swap? I think the pros are that the C4 is not an orphan tranny (part are still available for upgrade/rebuild) whereas the MX is probably not as open...

I kinda agree with most that has been said above. After posting all of my project pictures TWICE, and then seeing them disappear AGAIN, I kinda gave up on updating my progress. I still check this bulletin board daily, and was glad to see some activity today. And I still follow Steve Canup and his on...

That hole is for the wiring from the dash to either the gas tank level sensor or dome light, both at the back of the cab.

That must have a fly-by-wire throttle linkage, because I cannot see any cables or links anywhere in the picture... LOL!
