Re: Lambrecht Collection of Chevy Cars & Trucks
I'd love to have the 58 Cameo and/or the 63 red/white Impala. The cameo looks like it has roof damage to me. I feel like this country was blessed to have had the great cars and trucks that was built in the 50s and 60s on both sides of the fence IMHO.

Re: 66 f100 master cylinder
Jim, which booster did you use? I want to shop at the "auto reclamation facility" for one. I got it at Advance auto parts for a 68 f100. Had to shorten the brake pedal push rod and adjust the front rod a little for the MC. Don't remember the part no,sorry. Most I'd find at the junkyard wer...

It would set there and idle perfect and as soon as I'd give it some gas, it'd sound like it was running on two cyl. I unpluged the vac line and ole bessy smoothed out. It had been soooo l...

Re: Time to get away from points?
Ice, I've had good luck and bad with ecklin/napa condensers, but wouldn't hesitate using them. In fact I think that's what's in the 65 now. Got napa point/condenser in my 600 ford tractor.Same set been in it for maybe 5 yrs now.

Re: Time to get away from points?
Yeah,I like the idea of all ford, but want a stock original look to it. From what I understand, pertronix fits all under my original dist cap and I can use my original coil??aarons428 wrote:It is very easy to convert it to a duraspark I've done a few. Never had a problem with it. I just like to keep it all Ford.

You and me both would be better off if we could find someone that makes them out of aluminum. Mine's brittle and falling apart along the bottoms. jim Wayne was making them out of aluminum a few years back, they were spendy but will last forever. guys in the MAC chapter probably can get a hold of hi...
