Yes, same mismatched bed as the 57-60's used, cant believe that they actually put that bed with the redesigned 61 cab, nothing lines up...Thanks for the link, that is the right way to do it, but alot of time involved....someone did offer that piece and a 20" section of corrugated front floor se...

Where can I find bed patch panels?

I had a catalog but cant find it and forget who it was who makes the bed patch panels....I need the corrugated front bed floor section and the lower outer rear panel to the right of the tailgate....this is for my 63 F250 4x4 styleside 8' bed pickup....project is back up and running after a few year ...

I'm guessing it's an older axle that the PO swapped in. Sounds just like the one in my 63. A hose and filter would be a good idea, to keep it cleaner in there, but I've had no trouble with it. Surprised it has never dribbled from there... Keep the juice down a little and you should be sweet. my 63 ...

that is cool! I saw alot of slicks the last time I was in virginia....seems like every other house has one, either shiny and nice, or original paint with some 'patina' but no rust! 8)

associated parts would be the metal components: the correct nuts, bolts, and washers....mine were very rusty, and had to be torched off....also, the metal bands and spacers....may as well do it right....

4x4 owners - who's interested in cab mounts?

I'm still researching sources for the rubber and associated parts, and if I'm successful, I know a few mentioned they would be interested too....post if you're interested, cost unknown at this time, but I'd imagine making several sets would be cheaper than one set....

I re-read my post and found it misleading.... when I said "three came out OK, one I had to use a torch on and kinda burnt it" I meant when I was removing the old ones....one bolt was rusted so bad I had to torch it off, burning the rubber beyond re-use....the other 3 actually look like the...

I'm replacing them on my 4x4 in the near future....option one: search for them as they have a ford part # on them.....option two: make them up myself....three came out OK, one I had to use a torch on and kinda burnt it :roll:

skip, congrats! that is great news! I hope and pray that my dad is around in 5 years, as he was operated on yesterday for the same thing....I sure hope they got it in time and got it all....he is in good spirits, so that is a good sign so far....we are all hoping that the pathology reports come back...
