i just put all 74 disk stuff under mine and it stops very well. no booster
i found a 74 with new rotors calipers and pads at the yard and got all but the master and i got it new. (i beams and all ) it was an easy swap (mines a 65)

my truck is a 65 and i have no idea how original it is or if it been changed around but it has a horn mounted on both sides of the core support. you can see them from the front thru the grille. i have a 66 grille and they are about even with the largest horizontal opening and just left of the "...

i welded a piece of tubing to the nut on the brake light switch to act as a stop so the stress of stopping the pedal dosent go on the plastic housing of the switch.

i have had good results out of mine, all three so far. when my current one is worn out or whatever i will get another. 42 miles to the gallon in a car i can pick up for under a grand is just what i want in a commuter car my current one is a 94 hatch 5 speed with 240k and counting my old one was a 98...

Yea no doubt. Those are impossible to see out of. Evey time we have one i in the shop I get out and look before I move it.its got a 20foot blind spot. If your itchin to go out and beat on one avis rents ss cars.

yea its prolly the relay, it aint the switch on the pipe. ac overrides that. be prepared for that to not be the right relay. the the parts houses here all show a listing but its not the right relay.. or its the relay at the cowl, yea i think there is two relays..... sorry to be confusing but i am tr...

prepare to cuss out loud cuz it aint easy to change. its in a rubber boot thing. sob to get out. i would take it aprt now and look at it. mine did this a few months ago and when i got the relay out it was obviously trash.
before you do that, does your fan come on with the ac ?

i bet the fan problem is the relay behind the left headlight. you cant get one from the parts house you need one from the stealer or the yard.

i vote for the buy a beater car, and drive it during the week. i drive about 60 miles each way plus we are 20 miles from much of anything so i have a 500 escort i drive most of the time. it gets 40mpg in the summer when we are not on the winter blend... in the winter i get abut 36mpg.
