Re: I'm back baby!!!

the guy is supposed to pay for and pick up the Jeep tomorrow..... work on the slick and parts ordering will commence shortly there after I'm sure. Work (day job) has let up a little, so it's game on! and I may need a runner sooner than later, so there's definitely a fire under the old arse.... maybe...

Re: I'm back baby!!!

thanks! yupp, unfortunately many are probably in the same boat... I don't mind putting a little weight on the slick to help bail me out though... and I have faith in the old girl! Just waiting to get the dough from the Jeep sale to buy a couple last minute things, but all that's really left to do is...

I'm back baby!!!

....not that you guys know who I am, I wasn't the most involved when I was here before, but I've missed you guys, and my slick! Here's the story (abridged version) Leading up to me being laid off at the end of 2010 I didn't have much time or money, so work stopped on the truck around the beginning o...

yupp, that's JFCDeuce's old truck. I just sent him an email, I'm sure he'll be suprised to see it. He still pops on here from time to time but no longer has a slick. I'm sure he'll drop you a note. I've seen her up close, drove er, etc. it needs a few things but was a very solid runner when he had it.

before I put 06' bullitt style rims on mine I had 07 CV steelies on the front (CV front end) and 03 CV steelies on the back (stock rear end) with 1 1/2" spacers and the track width for both was nearly identical. The older CV steelies will take snap on caps, but the newer style are almost flat a...

forgot to snap some pics last night. you can't see much in this picture from my photobucket, but kind of shows the basic idea. I put a rubber bushing with the metal cups on either side above the CV crossmember, then a plate to bolt through that is offset to get the motor in the correct postion, then...

I had some 302 mounts that I cut up, added 2" square "risers" to and bolted through the mounts on the CV front end. I basically just hung the motor in there, got it where I wanted it, bolted the mounts to the engine and fabbed the rest. I was dreading that day but it wound up only tak...

If I don't get permission to keep selling, I may just turn over my designs to managment and they can use them if they want. I spent some time on them and am really proud of one in particular that I really think people will dig. I'd just be excited to see people enjoying it.

Thanks Iceman, I agree. Yupp, the t-shirt business is in no way a get rich quick scheme.... especially using Zazzle, but whether it be through me or not, it is a good way to offer club items for sale because as you said, its available all the time. I think my post was removed, and i understand. Hope...

an apology is in order

Yesterday I posted a link to my zazzle page where I created some shirts and things based on this site's name. I did not contact anyone because honestly I didn't know there was anyone to contact. That probably sounds nieve but although I've been here a while I didn't know who was in charge. I also ju...

ok, it looks like when i converted to JPG and uploaded to photobucket that the quality/size was reduced, so PM me with your email for the original PDF. If someone knows a way to post PDFs and provide a link that would be better so people aren't waiting on me. I don't currently have a website where I...

HEADLINER templates are in!

thanks to Brian who sent me a pattern of his headliner, I was able to scan and produce full size PDFs that can be printed at 1:1 Unfortunately due to scanner issues a couple things got cut off (i.e. the corner of the large piece) so I apologize, but this shouldn't be too bad of a problem as the othe...

sorry... guess I wasn't clear with my question... I wasn't asking about how to take the assembly and frame out, I already have all that out, I'm asking about separating the actual glass from the surrounding that holds it in place. I ordered new glass and want to put it in. that said, maybe the confu...

how do I remove GLASS from track

I'm in the process of replacing my side glass and vent window glass but I'm not sure how to remove the vent window glass from its surrounding.... its sandwiched in the track pretty tight with the rubber. I don't care if I damage the glass since I'm replacing it, but I don't want to break it if it ca...
