I thought about a coil as well but I've had them go bad before and its thrown a code for it. Doesn't hurt to check them though. Thanks for the help.

Didn't see a category for other Fords, so I figured I'd post it here. Got a 2001 Ford F150 5.4 with about 140,000 miles on it. Recently its started to act up at idle. This usually happens when I am at a stoplight. Will idle erratically and sometimes dies. While I'm driving I haven't noticed an issue...

For those that have the 223 I6 and have converted from generator to alternator how and where did you mount the alternator? Did you fabricate your own mount or did something off another truck/engine fit? Thanks.

Was able to get the tube down to the lip after some use of the bench grinder. But the only way I could get it to fit has the tube slightly resting on the header pipe. Is this a problem?

I will also be at Pate and am very interested in the headliner. PM sent.
