Started tearing down the F600 as we are using the sheat metal for her F100.

All the pieces tucked away till we need them.

I always love he first fire up on a new engine!!
I built exhaust systems for 13yrs and I hated those mufflers. The first sign of restriction is heat. Where the paint is coming off is where it either hits a wall or is so tight. But so many people love those mufflers.

Avery and I tried out the "comet wash" on a few panels and didn't turn out to bad.

We also got Avery's donor frame home and are starting to disassemble it.

There should be no need to put thread sealant on those fittings as they both seal on the taper NOT on the threads. Is there a leakage issue?

Well it has started!! Just picked up a 63 f600 cab and chassis. I haven't seen it in person yet but pictures look pretty decent. I will pick it up this weekend and get better pics.
This will be an adventure!
