I worked on the Slick and installed a winch on my trailer all day long. Was home before dark.......... Not sure if it's age or experience that makes me smarter now....

I have seen several winch mounts where they turned a equalizer hitch upside down and welded it to the tounge. A Valley universal seems to be a good one. That's my plan for the one I bought a month ago.

Ok I am at a stumbling block on my project. The problem with buying a motor and trans is I don't have the bellhousing bolts. I'm putting together a FE with a C-6 behind it. Are the bolts special to the application, or just standard bolts.

Good to meet you out there yesterday. Hopefully mine will be there next year, and even better I found another Sunbeam Tiger in town so I have some direction for that project!

Nice one. Spent many a night rolling down the highway in one just like it with the lights flashing........... Never should have let it get away when we replaced it.
