thanks for the clarification, i wonder why all the grilles i see from 62, are painted then if they came aluminum, and my truck is a 62 and it came with the grille that had the ford lettering it it. hmmm

ok so ive found the grille that i would like to use, however the pictures i have all were found under a search i did for "1962 ford f100 grilles" and the pictures i have for 1961 and 1962 trucks dont really clarify so if someone could help me out i would greatly appreciate it. first grille...

thanks everybody for the kind words! powerplant: one of the crate motors from a 2006 expedition, the 5.4 liter 32 valve big block to be specific, twin turbo setup to boot, mostly because this motor keeps it all ford and also has a rock solid bottom end that will carry the boosties just fine.. someon...
