Tonneau Covers

While at a recent car show another truck owner wanted me to look at his truck. Specifically his tonneau cover. It was a nice design fit well and also lifts. No drilling needed. However the owner did drill his corners making it a permanent cover. Look at this website, let me know what you think. http...

Re: I could not believe the article I found on yahoo...

From what I can see, the floor is flat like the 65-66 the drivers side fender had a 65 emblem on it. The top of the emblem outline at least appears to be from a 65. The 66 emblem would have the F100 incorporated in the emblem. Of course the twin I-beam is visible.

If that was my truck, I couldn't put a price on it, keep it in the barn, that shouldn't cost you much. Save it for the next generation.

Re: Help me with pricing my 66 F100

I looked at your CL ad. Pictures of outside are fine, but you have no pictures of interior. What does the floor look like? What about the bed? What about the eng. compartment? What about the wiring? Please show me more. As a buyer I would ask for more pictures. I would also ask for any documentation...

I noticed there was no tailgate, Do you have one?
I recently picked up a complete tailgate from a 63 flareside. I also grabbed the parts that were attached to the bed for the gate to lower. I have the chains and all.

Re: Did I get scammed on my widsheld?

Yeah, I would say you definitely got taken. After his sneer comment about the extra 40 bucks I would have told him to take it out right now and when he was done I would say gtfo with that attitude. What an ass. It's not that!!! if your in front of someone who is doing a job for you, how can you be ...

Re: Did I get scammed on my widsheld?

It's not that!!! if your in front of someone who is doing a job for you, how can you be "taken advantage of"? If you have someone doing a job for you, and say "I want it done this way", how can you loose? You have to be in charge!! I'm paying for what I want, and that's that. You...

Re: Did I get scammed on my widsheld?

Man most of you want something for nothing. Why call some one if you can do it yourself. Most of you guys will attempt this then blame it on the "P.O." This irks me. If you can do it your self, then "DO IT" An example: A farmer had trouble getting his tractor started, so he calle...

Off topic, but necessary for this type of post. Inserting a "Degree Symbol" " ° ° " Windows •Option 1: Hold down the ALT key and then enter the number 248 or 0176 on your numeric keypad •Option 2: In Microsoft Office programs such as Microsoft Word, you can use the Insert > Symbo...

Re: Looking for pictures of under dash A.C. mounting bracket

Honestly, it looks like crap. BUT!!! You have room for improvement. Re-paint everything you can. before you do, make a custom face, "Cover Plate" that goes from one end to the other. You have the bolt attachments that will hold a custom "Cover Plate" Be creative, use what you hav...

Re: How much horsepower??

I'm going to add my two cents, Sense is what I lack, however, when we build engines you have to consider "Breathing" 2 1/2 pipes out the back is best. I built a 292 with 3" exhaust. I can smoke my wheels, pull down a house or just simply cruise. Granted I only get 13 miles to the gall...

Re: 351W in a '61 unibody, header question.

If you can weld, it's not that difficult. Buy some "Exhaust" tubing and cut and replace. Sometimes people over think a simple project. A cut off wheel and file is the only real tools needed. If a header is available, then you have the means to "Adapt" If a header can be placed on...

This is sad but true. While at the F100 Western Nationals approx. 5 years ago, The trophy for best engine went to a 56 Ford with a chevy 350. Now it had all the chrome you can bolt on to it, and was puurrrty but,.. at a Ford show? Several of us questioned the decision to give this guy the trophy for...

Here's the only reason I'm not a fan of design #3
It looks to much like a 57 chevy hood emblem.

The 64 in ICEMANS post is a fake. The owner, Doug admitted to creating this truck. While I personally I don't care if fake or not, it's what he was trying to do and that was pass it off as 64 Ranger. Two members from FTE (N.D. & CS65) questioned Doug at length, He admitted to building it. This t...
