The camper would be cool, but so would a flatbed or a raised deck towing truck.
Imagine all the slick's you could rescue witha unit like that?

Lot's of possibilities, but a hard decision to make none the less.

Good luck

It's been a month since I last posted. And unfortunantley I haven' t got a thing done to the truck. First my trusty 94 850 turbo quit starting with 510kms on it, and i decided to take it off the road as all the little things were starting to add up. SO then I spent a week or so test driving second h...

Tons of diesels sitting around here as well. I know the 6.4 is not known for fuel economy, I have a 6.0 which I have been happy with overall. It gets a little better milage than the 6.4, about 12 mph towing a 7K Toy Hauler. I know people who tow with the 6.4 and 7-8 range is not unheard of. The v10...

Im using a 4.6L in my build, but not going with EFI. Edelbrock sells a 4 barrel intake manifold, along with an ignition control unit, and associated wireing harness. The kit claims you only need to run a ground wire, and a positive from the ignition to battery. :D I am a EFI fan, but I figured the c...

Turned 25 yesterday, october 1st. Quarter century down! I got a 10" bench mount drill press from my best friend, I think he was tired of helping me drill plug welds with an electric drill. Also got a 14g metal shear from my father, 120v. Cut some 16g with it yesterday and I was impressed....

Lost in the woods...

Went for a little mission yesterday searching for a tailgate, a good friend of mine knew where some old vehicles were deep in the forest. And that they were, I would have to cut trees down to get anything out of there in one piece. Here is a list of some of the vehicles found deep in the forest. 195...

Re: Baby Girl Whistles

I can't take credit for Clyde's name, he was my dad's first. I asked him, one day, what was the name of "The Old Girl" out there. I could have swore he was mad. "My truck ain't no female, his name is Clyde!" I was corrected. He got that name from the song "Ahab the Arab&quo...

Looking good there foodstick, your truck appears to sit lower on the LTD frame then mine does on the crown vic chassis. I think it's due to your Uni haveing a higher cab floor, with the modified step that you have. I didn't have to cut anything there to set the cab over the frame rails on my 66 cab,...
