might try a muffler shop for the straps , and the white bar is a ballast resistor.

or at least one glove !! If you have never blasted anything be for be very careful, you can get carried away with all the removal and start to heat the metal up and can warp it and cause you a lot of work in the future or possibly ruin your piece. :2cents: I lucked out and found a car guy that sandb...

i used one of these . left a little glove box but door spring works, just have to deal with knobs , but in 64 im sure any truck owner would not have minded miss matched knobs to have A/C
