So a while back ago I read about people using an 80s floor pan in the bed of my short bed 66. Well I pulled my bed and have located an 80s bed and before I go cutting away I'd like to get a few pointers.
Any input guys?

Re: Gas tank removal
The bottom had a lip and the top has 3 or 4 bolts. I just pulled the tank in my 66. It may get caught in those bottom lips and be a pain in the butt.

Mustang tank filler neck
For the guys that have installed the mustang tank what are you using for a filler neck? I'm going to cut and use a hinge in the bed but I'm not sure what to do for a filler neck.

turn signal switch diagram
Hey guys, I could use some help here. The last bit of wiring I need to do to my 66 f100 is my turn signal switch. I put a 75 column in so it has a 75 signal switch in it. I cannot seem to find a good diagram that will break down the colors of the wires that come off the switch to tell me where they ...

Re: I really need some guage help
Thanks banjo. I'll get on it tomorrow night. I'll have my headlights and relays done tomorrow so I'll get right on that. Then it's on to heater controls, windshield wiper motor and then hook the battery up.

Re: I really need some guage help
I'm in the middle of re wiring my truck right now. I have the cluster removed and the ivr is connected. How can I test each gauge, the fuel and temp that's in the cluster.

Re: I really need some guage help
ill try giving that a shot. I wish there was an easy way to just replace the gauges with vdos and keep the cluster stock looking with the exception of the fuel and temp gauge.
I don't know how much faith I have in the accuracy of the temp gauge since its a vital function too.

I really need some guage help
Alright so I'm almost done re wiring my truck. I have a 66 f100 with a sweep cluster in It. I have a replacement chrome sweep cluster and here's my delema. My fuel gauge and temp guage have never been accurate. I like the look of the factory cluster and in a perfect world I would have an oil pressur...

clear turn signal lense for a 66?
I haven't found any yet. So I went down to lowes and picked up a sheet of overhead light plastic. It's thin but so far I made one. I'll try again tomorrow to make another, I'm using masking tape and a fine tooth jigsaw and it's working ok. Anyone do anything like this or did I not search enough for ...
