Re: F100 Accelerator Pedal
Thanks guys, after a bit of a nip and tuck on the rubber I managed to free it up. Still need to get a additional spring on the pedal to assist the return. I am not a fan of the pedal assembly and would prefer the suspended type so I will keep a lookout on ebay. I have photos of the original 65 pedal...

Re: F100 Accelerator Pedal
Thanks for all the help gentlemen. I did clamp the new pedal in a vice at the bottom and try pivot it back and forth and it is tight. I don't see any form of hinge in the casting. I will try cut the rubber back as uni body suggested and see if that improves it. I don't have any form of return spring...

Re: Australians MIA
Yes I quite like the look of it and plan to fit it. Also want to modify it slightly so it sits level with the top of the roof. I have one on mine, in my opinion they look great on them especially the big trucks like mine, they keep the sun out of your eyes on the open road too. Retro probably get th...

Re: C4 Speedo Drive Gear Size
The speedo was originally KPH, I bought a complete MPH one that I have installed. The KPH one was quite accurate if I remember correctly. As mentioned I have not driven it on the road, just had it in gear on stands and the speedo seemed to hit 60 MPH very quickly. I may need to go out on a midnight ...

Re: C4 Speedo Drive Gear Size
Thanks Bruce. I was hoping to get it relatively close as the vehicle is currently unregistered so I can't drive it on the road (well not legally).

C4 Speedo Drive Gear Size
Good day gentlemen
I have recently installed a 'MPH' speedo (was originally KPH) and was wondering if anybody knew the correct size speedo drive gear for a C4 Auto.
I am still to drive the truck with new speedo but it hits 60MPH very quickly on jack stands

Re: Mustang fuel tank....... vent
I know this is a old thread. But I am in the process of installing a mustang tank and l was wondering if anyone has tried a vented cap? I don't feel confident in welding a breather on the side of the filler neck. Mustang tanks are quite expensive here (I just paid $250) so don't want to stuff it up....

Re: 1965 wiring issues
Silly question of the day  what is IVR? I recently changed over dash cluster and the fuel and temperature go straight to max. I tried fitting the old one again which used to work perfectly but it is now doing the same. I did not change anything else. Any suggestions on why it would do it now a...

Thanks Paul.
I sorted something out to get fuel to the carb and it turns out the engine starts and runs with the brown wire disconnected. Now I am really confused!
