Just a couple of more things to check without having to throw money at it in parts. Check the mechanical advance in the distributor. It is pretty simple to do. Just pop the distributor cap off and turn the rotor with your fingers, It should rotate or advance and snap back to the starting location wi...

I have a quick suggestion from your video that might help. I see that you have the vacuum advance from the distributor connected to the full manifold vacuum port on the drivers side of the carb. Which is going to give you full manifold vacuum at idle. Which would bring the advance in as soon as you ...

Question for Uncle Skip/ Mustang Tank

I have a question for Uncle Skip or anyone who has installed the Mustang tank like his article showed. In the article, it showed the breather line running over to the frame rail. Would it make sense to run it over to the frame rail and then forward towards the rear end housing? I was just curious if...

Yes sir, it came as it sits with those wheels and tires. The wheels and tires look better in the picture than they are in real life....the tires are all cupped and I would not drive on them. The one picture is of the truck on the previous owners trailer as he delivered it. It was free to a good home...

My 1964 Project

OK, I think that I have this photo thing figured out. Below are a few images of my truck as it arrived to my shop. The price was right...."free to a good home." I have since back-halfed the frame to get rid of the PO's modifications and replaced the complete bed floor and tubs. Apparently ...

Duke, I am very familar with Cambridge Springs. I grew up in Meadville and my brother and his family are in Saegertown. I noticed that you were looking for a cab. I did see this 65 F100 on my Craigs List over here if that will help you.

Yes, pictures will be the first order of business. The truck is currently outside under a tarp in "Bay #3." I am originally from across the border in PA. Mom and dad were both Buckeyes. I believe that Cedar Point is still going. It's been years since I have been there. If the rain ever sto...

Newbie from Ohio

Hi Folks, I am a new member from Akron Ohio. I have been busy learning about these trucks from all of you. It is a great site and you all have been a wealth of information. My latest toy to drag home is a 64 F100 SWB. It is a project but is really a solid truck to work with. I can tell that I am not...
