Re: wow!

Love the wide whites on the first one... Not to sure how I feel about a hemi in a slick.... I think a nice supercharged coyote engine would be a better fit...

Re: Project SLIXTYFIVE

Just a suggestion on holes like that, take a large flat washer (we used 10 gauge) with the proper hole in the middle i believe 5/8 and weld it in place.... I had similar issues with my 66 and this seems to be stronger than just using weld to fill the hole. Good luck! Cant wait to see it done....

Re: 1966 F100 Drum to Disc conversion

You can take the spindles off of a 76-79? f100 to swap your i-beams to disc brake. I used a 79. Just find a donor, pull the kingpins remove drums from your I beams and instal the spindles from the 79. Keep brake calipers from donor for core charge at local parts store( should carry new calipers roto...

Re: 1966 f100 shortbed value

I paid 600 dollars for a donor truck, not a spot of rust just missing engine and trans.... Ive seen rebuilt slicks go for less than that... 3000 dollars for that is outrageous... keep looking

sweet looking ride, love the ride height! Mine is gonna sit a little lower when all is said and done, but ill be able to bring it back up and drop it down with airride. Awesome work, and impressive fabrication skills. Keep it up. Are those coys wheels?

Kinda surprised by the high rpms because the guy i got the rear end from said it was 2.88 gears.. Thought it would give me better highway miles and do the opposite with the rpms.

I have a c-6 behind it right now.... I cant do highway speeds without it pushing high rpms. Transmission might just need a rebuild I guess.
