Re: The Bluebird build thread 66 F100 Camper Special

I still have some of the pics on my hard drive that I could post, but not all. I sure would trade some of this rainy NC weather for some of that CA sunshine right about now!

Re: The Bluebird build thread 66 F100 Camper Special

Alright, if time permits I will begin disassembly of interior to accept some Sound Deadener Showdown products. Here's a quick preview. UPS is working overtime, delivery at 8:20 and driver said he wasn't even close to being done! http://pic20.picturetrail.com:80/VOL1406/5732364/23544211/400202907.jpg...

Thanks dcombs. More room for tunes. Didn't like the sloshing of fuel behind me. No fumes, but that is another common reason. Oh, did I mention 22gallons for the new tank. More driving less pumping!

I'm thinking of doing a tank relocation this winter as well... I've ready Uncle Skip's instructions on his method, but yours seems a little different. Here are some questions I've got for you: You just bolted your tank frame to the bottom of the truck frame? Yes to the cross member in the rear and ...

Nice work! I really like the tank relocation. I should consider that when I have the bed off in the Spring. I miss having the extra room behind the seat. How is the tank attached to the frame that you made? Thanks BigMike, if you look closely at the pic of me welding the frame, you can see the tank...

From small arsenals too extra tools for the tool box. Keep me coming, I researched the Pepsi-cola can and best I can tell is it's from the 80's. Truck originated in Oregon and low and behold that's what the top of the can said!

I removed the fuel tank from behind the seat today and down in the crevice between the outer skin and the bottom of the cab I found some gems and a whole lot of DIRT!!!
