Re: Has anyone altered the stock accelerator cable firewall
Unfortunately no pics, but when we installed a 5.0 with holley carb and a 1987 AOD trans we used the LOkAR cable setup with bracket, we had the Lokar cable coming out of the same hole in the part that bolts to the firewall & it works great,

Re: anybody use either of of these brake kits?
I was wondering I did a disc conversion on my 1965 using the newer Ford spindles & Ford calipers, and I think that such a conversion as this one you state would be LESS time consuming and hassle, is there such a conversion like this for a 1965 using the factory spindles?

Re: Floor pan thickness
Guys what do you think about someone producing replacement floor panels WITHOUT the ripples/stiffeners? Basically flat and panels with generous wider longer ends with the bends whereas you could just weld in? In other words the panels would NOT look the same but the thickness and dims the same?

Re: Dissecting A Door
Something I have considered when I get to this point, I've thought about having Rhino Lining (like the bed spay stuff) sprayed IN the door cavity for sound deadening and rust preventive, I've also considered this AS a floor covering and NOT having carpet, anyone know of those who have done this? Fro...

Re: complete dash removal
I like the one WITHOUT the radio cutout, and without the big hole for the radio, BUT if I had to have the one with the big radio cutout to get the NO radio one I'd take it, 1965???

Re: Rebuild of 65 VENT window assembly
THANKS, the photos help, today after spending three days in two yards it appears I have found 2 vent windows that the pivot pin may not be broke from the glass frame, there are sitting in PB blaster overnight and hopefully they will work good enough to put the new seals in. THANKS

Re: Rebuild of 65 VENT window assembly
ALL of the vent complete assemblies (includes the frame that fits INTO door channel) the pin the spring is attached to with nut on bottom of pin is LOOSE/NOT ATTACHED to the window frame itself, the window frame itself has a slotted or wallowed out hole that this pin fits in. In other words ALL of t...

Re: Rebuild of 65 VENT window assembly
Rich, that would help, Thanks Iceman the photo does help also. SO the long pin originally is welded to the frame that HOLDS the window? And Rich, I didn't get any rivets with the molding and don't have such a tool. Rivet DID come with the strip that goes on the bar between the vent and large window,...

Re: Rebuild of 65 VENT window assembly
The pivot that is riveted to the window frame itself broke, so the spring & nut at the end of the spring assembly is or should be adjustable? Mine and the replacement is so rusty I'm afraid to try without breaking it. BTW, where this pin fits INTO the bottom of the vent window frame (the hole) i...

Re: Make your own dashpad at home!
Looks great, how much wax did you put on the dash? Did it remove easy? I wonder how this would do for a dash area that had the radio hole mutilated?

Rebuild of 65 VENT window assembly
The pivot clip broke and window fell inside, I got another frame assembly COMPLETE to replace with old one and new seals. Anybody have close up photos of this rework? The seal that goes into the frame does it just slide in? Do you use glue? Another thing, originally did the tab that has spring conne...
