i have two 1965 ford f100's to convert to Front disc. Is there a bracket i can buy to use later 70's model front rotors and calipers without takeing my whole truck apart. I know i will have to have a new mastercylinder, but does anyone sell reasonable brackets to use other rotors.
thanks

Re: The Blue Truck Saga
nice build. I have kicked around my 1965 F100 project so many times, changed engine combos, transmission combos, end purposes, at one time i wanted a street truck, a drag truck, a top end ride, its gone from a EFI 302 to a 460 and back more than a few times. Currently I have plans for a 460 with C6 ...

Re: 5.0 roller help
just remember the balance on the newer 1981 and later is 50 oz balance instead of the 28.5 balance of the engines before 1981. I ran one of the "roller motors" in my 1982 Mustang GT with a carb and absolutely loved it. It seems to rev a little easier and the cam choices, and other accessor...

Re: cab frame mounts on a 65 easyiest way to remove?
the mounts to the metal ear that is riveted to the frame. the weird washers screw together thru the rubber parts. I finally just cut them with my plasma cutter. I have two new mounts mounted and 2 more half way mounted. thanks

Re: cab frame mounts on a 65 easyiest way to remove?
pretty much the ones you are talking about.
it appears to be some sort of nut/washer combo that pulls down on the bushing.
I can use my plasma cutter if needed but I don't want to damage the mounts
I have a new bolt kit which by the way DID NOT come with the fine thread nuts as it should have.
