This is for the stepside guys. I want to do a hidden hitch on my 66 stepside. The only problem is that I have no bumper or brackets yet but I do have a hitch. Could anyone tell me what the distance is of the bumper(how far out and how far down)

I just did mine. I used a short socket with a three in ext. then I continued to do do 1/8 turns.

I just did this trick on one side and it worked great. Me lip wasn't as big asnin the pic but I put 4 washers in it and now it's smooth. Thanks for the trick!!!
