16 inch 5 lug came on 49 half tons. dont know what other years were available. many years ago I used to scour the junk yards for them.

could be from a 48-50 1/2 ton. I used to look in junkyards for the 16 inch 5 lugs for my slicks many years ago. got my first set from my uncles 49

best I can tell you do away with the resister wire and run a full switched 12 volts to the coil and brain box. just gotta find a coil that dosent need a resister. mine must have needed one cause only made it about two miles and truck went dead.has ran for years useing the pink resister wire for powe...

can't remember how the wires go on a ds2. only 2 wires that I remember but can't remember which wires to hook up to power.
also does an e core coil need a resister?

I bought one from DC and the arm was way shorter than the original and that could cause what you are experiencing.

Dan the next time you go to your honey hole see if you can find a good front bed panel for a wrongbed
64x19 and how much. I could probably be persuaded to come out there for a good 9ft wrongbed.

parts came in from summit today. Got the carb spacer and throttle cable put on and working. Had to take the gas peddle off the firewall and shoot it with penetrating oil to get it freed up and working. Got the new engine fired up and broke in the cam according to the spec sheet that came with it. I've never held an engine at 2000 rpm for 30 minutes before but it held together. engine tech is the brand.machine shop supplied the rebuild gasket set. efi engines come with that type i think.

been quite a while since I had to do anything to sherman. What started out as a head change ended up in the machine shop for a total rebuild of the engine. Was gonna swap a carby head in place of the FI head but the cyl walls were scored and found out the crank was toast. http://i512.photobucket.com...
