I thought my hood was screwed up (the PO told me he thought the hinges were upside down!!! LOL), but then I tried the hood on a few other slicks and they were all the same. At least they never break down, you only need to lift the hood to show off your motor to your friends lol!!! __________________...

Well... still working on the cash part and then I plan on procrastinating for a month or so but until then... Has anybody else done a tie rod? Was it easy to align or did you just take it to the shop?

For rust is it ok to just remove it and paint over it? Or should I use some kind of rust nuetralizer first? I heard that some kind of acid is good to use on the bare metal before you paint to prevent flash rust but I forgot what kind to use. I'm working on my bed now (the first part) and it is prett...

Drive it, inspect it, see if you like it or not. If you can afford it why not, it sounds fun, good price too.

BTW I've found that a light sanding between coats is nothing compared to sanding a car initially or bodywork sanding. Once the truck is straight much less effort is needed because you just sand lightly everywhere, not a lot of thought is required it is more like drying the car. Hope that makes sense...
