Re: Bed covers
it is hard to find a tonneau cover for a slick. i looked for years. i did manage to find a camper shell to fit a long bed slick. i really wanted a tonneau cover for a short bed. i finally found one to fit a 73-79 shortbed that was a factory ford cover but i had sold my dent shortbed and could not fi...

Re: Short box saddle tanks?
Hi Guys! I am wondering if any companies made saddle tanks for short box truck? I know ford did not . The ones that sit on the outside of the frame and fill up threw the rear wheel wells. I have seen long boxes with them but, I have measured them and they are to long to stuff under my short box. I ...

Re: Powder Coat Frame?
i like POR15. it is hard as a turtle shell. if your frame is clean it will not come off. i have also tried chasis saver but it not as good. thinner and cheaper but i went right back to POR15 after trying it. it will not come off your hands either so wear gloves. summit has it. around $50 a quart. it...

Re: Help me with pricing my 66 F100
around here i think the kansas city craigslist posters would have posted it for sale more like $8,000. $4,000 buys you a complete restoration candidate with flat tires.

Re: fuel gauge issues
If your gauge is matched and working properly, and checked while removed, the grounded sending unit should have pegged the gauge when moved to full position. If not, there is a mismatch somewhere, assuming good grounding. If an OEM style float-on-arm gauge, it may be hanging up on something when in...
