need help to identify a winch

This might be a long shot but I need help with a winch. I know nothing about it it was on the front of a gooseneck I bought. I'm trying to figure out exactly what it is. Its an old BRADEN ECM5 3 1 7807212 These are the only numbers I could find stamped on it anywhere. On the winch the 3 and the 1 ar...

factory primer?

I'm curious what color primer did they use in 65? Now that I finally got my 4x4 65 on the road for the last couple weeks I took it to the car wash today. The truck is black with black and red interior which I believed to be original paint. Now this truck hasn't been wash in god knows how long and wh...

Re: 2wd to 4wd conversion?

I just finished up doing a 65 long bed onto a 78 3/4 ton frame and it was super easy. Other than a few questions I had that were answered by the guys here. You may want to measure your wheelbase. I want to say the bronco has a shorter wheel base than the short box.

Re: My build

Build it like nascar had a trucks series in the 60s that was the same kind of idea I had idea I had in mind for my 64 short box. Not something you would see everyday. My thoughts were white grey and black for colors. Lower it a couple inches and some black wheels

2 quick questions ignition and brakes

Ok I'm almost finished with my 65 4x4 build but I have 2 issues. #1 I put the body onto a 78 3/4 4x frame how do I wire the brain box into the 65 wiring harness? #2 I swapped the brake booster over to the 65 firewall but the rod is too long and goes past where it should mount to the pedal. Does anyo...

Re: Talk to me about lowering options..

I don't advise fipping the springs. When I got my 64 the previous owner had flipped the front springs to lower the front end and the frame sits right on the springs and it has no give
