Re: 4x4 knuckle ball seal kit
Hi mrgoob, I got all the parts for my Dana44 from Bronco Graveyard. They were very helpful. I run 90 in my knuckles, however I did pack the top bearing with grease because it is above the lube level and spends alot of time in dry where bottom one is always lubed. Hope this helps. Bill

Re: 1966 F-250 4x4 brake drum removal
I had the same problem with my 4wd. I took an old 5/8 chisel and ground it to fit the slots in the screws. Then I was able to use my impact driver on them, starting with the lowest setting the vibration eventually got them all loose, no heat. As others have said don't forget to back off your shoe ad...

Re: 65 Ford F250 4wd / Project Complete
Hello everyone, Thanks for the compliments on my collection. The mirrors are nos FOMCO I found on eBay. They weren't cheap but they are in mint condition and I like that style on a pickup. The truck was originally a government vehicle from the Department of the Interior Bureau of Indian Affairs. I k...

If you use a hole saw try it in reverse, it seems to make a smoother cut in sheet metal. Just my opinion.

Re: truck value and best way to sell
Wow that is a gorgeous truck. I would keep it if you can, as 64f100 said it might be worth more in years to come. Btw I think black is correct engine color for '65 240.

Firewall cover
Hello Everyone, I'm going to get one of those abs firewall covers for my 65 F250 4wd. Has anyone put one of these in their truck? I was wondering about quality and fit. I noticed DC has them for $340 and Macs has them for $183. I wonder if there is that much difference in them when they likely came ...

What's the best distrbutor for 240 i6?
Hello everyone, I'm just about ready to install a newly rebuilt 240 in my 65 F250 4wd. I want to make sure I get the right distributor for it. I've heard to stay away from loadamatic. I'm open to any and all suggestions. Thanks Bill

Re: has anybody used this frame paint?
The Chassis Saver works great, but for my most recent projects I have used the mastercoat system their primer really seems to make a good seal. www.masterseriescoatings.com.

Input on truck color
Hello everyone, I'm working on a 65 F250 4wd flareside, I'm having trouble deciding what color to paint it. It was a government vehicle so the warrenty plate was blank in this spot so I guess I'm free to pick a color. I'm open to any suggestions. I was thinking about springtime or Phoenician yellow ...

Hello Everyone, I am working on a 65 F250 4wd vin F26JR685038 with a 240 I6. I need to find a fuel pump for it, when I ordered it from Napa the wrong one came in same thing at Autozone. Something seems different about the angle of the drive arm on the one I need. I still have the old pump but the PO...
