Re: Slick (and hot model) photo shoot
Cool! Except for the snake. I've never seen a rattler in the wild.

I need to check that VIN so I can have some info to go off of. I might do that in the morning.

Re: 1966 4WD Front Disc Conversion
My truck is leaf springs on the front axle . Did you check with Jeff's bronco graveyard ? They sometimes run specials . Oh, mine is coils. I did check, but I don't know any information about what crosses over to different years and what doesn't. I've been reading up as much as possible, but there's...

Re: whats with chevy dudes?
I'll agree that a LS swap in anything is a good idea! But I can't see that the Coyote will ever be a popular swap. Very wide engines, and extremely expensive to buy and modify. The LS is smaller, cheaper, and extremely durable. You misread. I agree with what your above statement entails, I was only...

Yeah, they actually picked it as one of the three "Great Buys". It was lot number 617, teal and white 4 speed auto V8. Very nice. Sold for $23,650.

Re: 1966 4WD Front Disc Conversion
Thanks. More than anything, I am worried about width. I wonder if the 79 Dana 44 is the same width as my current setup.... I may be in a real pickle considering I have a 4 inch lift on my truck. May change what he's saying about the radius arms. Why can't it just be easy to the point where they say ...

Re: 1966 F250
Why does that particular truck have a round speedometer? Were they changed between the F100 and F250? (I'm a learner, sorry for the off topic question)

Dion, I'd love to see that info. I already have power steering in my truck, but am really wanting to go to disc brakes before I get the truck legal to drive.

1966 4WD Front Disc Conversion
SO, I've conversed with a couple members here on what it will take to convert my 66 to disc fronts. Now, I am told that I have the original open knuckle dana axle in the front. Over the last two days, I rebuilt the rear differential, while also replacing bearings, seals, gaskets, and brakes. (It act...

Re: whats with chevy dudes?
I guess I don't really understand a lot of the folks who get their britches in a ball over what someone else does. I'm a Ford guy, and have had numerous trucks, and just bought Mustang number 8 a few months back. I've also owned Mopar products, as well as a Trans Am and a Camaro SS. With that being ...

Re: Repainted my gauge faces
I think I'm gonna experiment and try painting them white first, then shooting the black and taking some superfine sandpaper and sand off the black paint to expose the white letters underneath. I paint custom car parts(among other things) for a living, and have seen this done about 43 different ways...

Re: Door panels I painted last night.
hey that looks cool. thanks for posting-especially since I refuse to do facebook. So I take it you do a brush metal treatment of some kind?? It's actually printed on there via water transfer printing. I own a shop that does it. I can do skulls, fire, leather, circuit boards, marbles, etc etc etc......
