Need help selecting speedometer gear
We are finishing work on a bumpside f 100 project , the speedometer is reading way too slow, it's got 3:50 gears in the rear end and a 302 with 3 speed manual transmission with no overdrive. We have a 17 tooth gear on the tranny end of the speedo cable and it all works but reads about 15 mph at 40+ ...

Re: '62 F100 Uni - yes another Crown Vic swap
Jon, I have been checking your build from time to time and have been impressed by how quickly you got that truck straightened out and on the road. I held onto that truck so many years because I knew that in the right hands it had a lot of potential and I just didn't want to see it crushed. You have ...

Re: Barn find
Rich, I'm pretty sure you are the guy I bought 2 cabs, inner fenders and core support from about 3 years ago. One of the cabs is on this truck as well as a few other items. I still have the rust free blue cab in a shed, a bunch of 64 f100 parts from a short bed custom cab parts truck and a complete ...

Barn find
hello, this is a truck I recently completed an off frame restoration. Trying to see if I can get photos to post. I have collected a bunch of good spare parts that I didn't need in my project. I am near Evansville, in southern Indiana. The truck was originally purchased as a farm truck by my dads bes...

Sources for new body fasteners
I'm almost ready for final assembly of my 66f-100 frame off restoration. The old fender bolts are pretty rusty and a lot of the nuts/ clips broke at disassembly or very rusty, does anyone make a fastener kit or offer new factory type fasteners for the fenders and other front end sheet metal? A set i...

Re: READY......SET.......
That's a way cool setup, I actually own a pretty solid 64 fleet side bed that someone sectioned out about 6" from the bed just in front of the wheel wells similar to the one in this photo. If someone would be interested in building one of these. Looks to me like the body would fit right onto a ...

Re: 352 cam selection
Thanks for the comments MeZapU, I'm curious what issues you had with the comp lifters, did they get noisy? Also do you have stock intake and exhaust manifolds or 4 bbl and headers? Thanks

352 cam selection
I'm restoring a 66 f-100 that I've owned since 1986, have the original sound running hardly ever touched 352 that's due for a complete overhaul, does anyone have recommendation of a cam that will increase performance and efficiency over the stock grind? Long lasting reliable service is more importan...
