Best news is I can sit on the tail gate and it does not drop 5 inches. Much firmer ride.
Cant wait to hook my trailer to it and take it camping.

The 250 springs have built in brackets to line then up. I just need to install new bolts. Hard ware store in closeist town was...

f250 spring install
My 66 F100 was purchased with broken springs. Being the cheap one that I an I salvaged springs off the 69 Camper special I was scrapping. I used main spring over and lower one. I left the second from top out and added drop shackles. I am happy with the result. http://i219.photobucket.com/albums/cc13...

Wanting to do a Aerostar front end swap. Dont want to talk about Jag Dodge or Crown Vic. ( currently doing CV on a 68) and it is too wide for my liking. I have searched for more than an hour and find much discussion but no pictures of build threads. Has anyone got links to a good thread I havent see...

Will make a color chart this week. Had two car shows and other projects to do. Forgot to mention at 6 foot 1 inch tall and 350 lbs the two inches it gives you is huge. Probably would not need tilt. I was planing to install power steering but dont think I need it now. It is that much better. Need to ...

1979 Tilt install
I found a tilt column at a friends shop and he let me have it. I installed it tonight. No pictures now but will get some this weekend. It was fairly easy. I had installed one in my 68 Bump. This truck has manual steering so the column was two inches lower so I had to remove the column mount from old...

Re: Pulling a trailer with 240 6.
It is mostly a bone inside. I have the power inverter from the pop up and the lights. I ran 4 outlets and a 12 power port to charge battery. I have a battery under the seat. The back bed can be a table but I eat out side. Front couch pulls out to be a bed. I bought a new B grade dorm size fridge. No...

Ok sounds good. Will take it on short drives. Just redid front brakes Saturday and installing a power booster this weekend. 4 or 5 speed in future. not sure which yet. First trip will be less than an hour. Galaxie pulls it 80 mph no problem.

Pulling a trailer with 240 6.
Anyone here pull a trailer with a little 240 L6? My truck is just a 100 stock with floor 3 speed conversion. I have a small camper I built to pull behind my Galaxie.Want to use the truck to pull it this fall to haul gear in the back. Trailer probably weighs 1200 pounds. No brakes. It is basic with p...

Re: Power disc brake/steering install on a 65 f100
I did this on a 68 Bump side and was told as long as it has twin I beam it will inter change. I got the front clip off a 78 f250 . I used axles ( changed bushings) and the complete steering linkage. Used the booster and master. I bought new hoses and had to relocate the proportioning valve and bend ...
