I have a 2000 CV 8.8 in my 64, it has 4.5 bolt circle. You could never get the wheels on it if you used wheel adaptors, it's squeeze getting my Bullit wheels on without jacking up the frame.
The brakes are great though.

Mine is a 2003 CVPI , 32 3/4" center to center as close as I could measure around the exhaust pipe!! It drives and stops great, I have a few pic poster in my album of the installation.

I think mine had some body sealer/putty on the flange. I'm not sure if that is production or not, I cut some gasket from 1/8 closed cell foam when I put it back together.

The hinge pins are probably worn allowing the springs to pull the hood up when closed. New or rebuilt hinges is the best fix.

Nice pictures, the Wimbledon white 64 looks just like mine except for the door handle plates and gas filler door. Did it have a CV front suspension in it? Judging by the wheels and disc brake I would guess that it does.

Anthony is right, I had to cut the nub off the top of the steering shaft.

I think I have a 72 col, my 64 wheel fit. Take a look in my album, I'm pretty sure it is a 72 col.

Yes you do have some missing parts, as I remember there are steel washer/bushings that go between the shaft and the hole in the bushing. Better go to the junkyard and check one out or see the Ford dealer they should have an exploded view of the assembly. Get all the right pieces and mount the bushin...

Try it, it's cheap, doesn't take too long to do, if you don't like it change it back. My experience is that coolness requires some compromise with practicality sometimes!!

I put both an oil pressure switch and an inertia switch on my 64, both switches are connected to the ground wire of my relay. The oil pressure switch is open when there is no oil pressure. I got the inertia switch out of the CV that my frt suspension came from, the switch is above the left rear whee...
