Re: Replace those old flexible brake lines!
I had a Dodge Ares K cook a caliper and shoes, the rubber line went through a bracket holder that had swelled with rust and prevented the fluid from returning once the brakes were released.

Check with local police or DMV. 4 in a cab is illegal in West Virginia for instance.

I used the mig and learned with an automatic hood the mig wire glows long enough between spot welds that ...

Re: 64 ABOVE RAIN GUTTER RUST OUT...ANY EXPERIENCE FIXING?
Sleeping Beauty is a Texas built truck shipped to Arizona branch for sale. How she got to West Virginia is a mystery . Last inspection sticker was 1995. She is about as rust free as any local truck except for rust out from bed leaves and internal rust from sweating of the cab inside.

64 ABOVE RAIN GUTTER RUST OUT...ANY EXPERIENCE FIXING?
Sleeping Beauty, My 64 F100 project has one trouble spot in the cab. The roof panel has sweated over time and has gotten thin or rusted out above the rain gutter edge. The rain gutter itself is intact and the rust is between the gutter edge and the roof crease above the door. My repair idea so far i...

Other problem is that every one is looking for the NV4500 so they are expensive and scarce. I have looking for one for Chevy 4x4 1 ton with 4.10 gears without success .

Re: '61-'64 292..NV4500 5 spd od swap?
Never heard of slick/ NV4500 swap in Ford . My question would be what transmissions would fit your needs pavement queen or rock hauler? Seems that many overdrive trannys might meet needs for hp and torque of engine?

Re: SLEEPING BEAUTY MB DIESEL 64 FORD F100 LONG WIDE BED PRO
Progress since last post....GM steering wheel in truck was stock length and too long for Ford stuck too far into the cab towards the seat. I am going to put in a 1985 Firebird tilt in instead . The MB diesel has a 24 volt starter but I have found a 12 volt model instead. Truck at a friend's house 2 ...

i have the brother to your truck..... my Sleeping Beauty a 1964 F100 Texas built Arizona district sales truck that ended up in West Virginia. Re: SLEEPING BEAUTY MB DIESEL 64 FORD F100 LONG WIDE BED PRO
Project update: We pull started the OM314 4 cylinder engine , it fired up within 15 feet with no smoke and no bad rattles. We have to get juice from the batteries to the starter as the series/parallel switch just buzzes . The engine at 1200 rpm held 100psi oil pressure, with 50 psi at 700 rpm with o...

Saving a Patina Finish 64 Ford F100 WHAT WORKED FOR YOU?
I am researching how to seal/save the patina finish on my 64 Ford Sleeping Beauty. She appears to be originally Turquoise Green with a coat of Safety Yellow over that with a peeling coat of dull white on top. I have some surface rust. I want to keep the under a tree (minus the leaves) barn fine look...

Re: SLEEPING BEAUTY MB DIESEL 64 FORD F100 LONG WIDE BED PRO
Thanks for the reply. The MB engine has a mechanical injector pump with no blower. I hope it is ok because the swap is unusual to say the least and people would get a kick out of it. The engine was used in ton trucks and small buses, so it should power an empty classic truck. Remember flathead V-8 w...
