Re: Those magnificent men in their flying machines
It's all the parents fault ha ha. I was not taught much at home and had to figure a lot out myself. A lot of times I would hang around a guy like Pat while he was calling me stupid for not knowing basic stuff and I would tolerate that so long as I learned something. When I was 16 my dad called me th...

I could be wrong here but I recall other threads on other sites in regards to the vacuum gauge. I believe Stewart Warner was the manufacturer of the gauge for Ford. Michelle has one in her N series truck

Re: truck parts
The USA, Taiwan is definitely a twist on the truth. The town changed their name to USA way back in the late 70's or early 80's so that they could make stuff and say it was made in USA without it being a lie. Scams us but is kind of ingenious from their perspective. I was told by an American conspira...

Re: Bolting Up A 65/66 2WD Slick Cab To A 73-79 2WD Chassis
The dentside era trucks had a longer wheelbase for the longbox but I cannot recall on the shortbox. 73-79 cabs were 4" longer to make it bigger but yes it bolted in the same place. The frame is the same width from under the cab forward but is wider from the rear of the cab to the back. The box ...

Re: Split Unibody on 4x4 frame
Stress break has me logging in here. My 2 cents say that the 63 truck is in fact sporting a 64 grill. The cab roof is also high so therefore 64-66 F250 4x4, F350 or just a plain old 64. Sequential number 381333 will indicate the month and year it was built. Me thinks that it was made in the fall of ...
