Ever heard of a 1960 Unibody?.. Not me.

There's so many exceptions from the rules when it comes to old cars and trucks that I don't argue too much I find something I've never heard of. I was just checking out Classic Trucks web to see if any work from my last days was starting to appear online and found a truck feature on a '60 Ford F-100...

Ford in a Slick on Chevy High's website LMAO!

Just for the heck of it I Googled "John Gilbert Source Interlink Media" to see what came up. Amongst it was this short Unibody '61 F-100 I shot while at CCT. What's really funny is the amount of Ford advertising that pops up with it. I better get back to work, I'm stuffing a 6-cylinder gri...

As it turns out because of the new Canon 50D I just bought I can set it to take his res RAW files and small files at the same time. Doing it that takes up a ton of space on the CF card, but well worth the sacrifice.

So my next question is, how do I attach photos on here?

The louvers on the Chevy hood are to let the stink out... Naw just kidding, you guys know I own some Chevys too. Although I do have a bad smell under the hood of my '66 C10 — I think its rat urine. Funny the only Rat motor I own is under the hood of my '75 C10... this is making my brain hurt. Ah, en...

Hey Alan,

Yeah there's a program Canon has that I tried and it left a bunch of hi-res images lo-res, so I didn't mess with it any further.

The trick is to make a separate file, I guess.

I appreciate the tip, i checked out the link, and in my free time I'll see if I can figure it out.

Thanks!

Hey Skip, Yeah, Ryan Manson was there shooting for CCT, so it will make it sometime in the future. I was there shooting stock for the Ford truck book I'm writing. Anthony, Yeah, I'd like to make it to the Smokey Mountain F-100 run sometime, that's beautiful country! Brent from Fatman Fabrications, a...

F-100 Western Nats report... sorta.

First off sorry no flicks because I have to shoot in large files that don't get along with posting on the web. I can tell you that Pickups LTD Orange County chapter put on a great show. There was a lot of slicks and bumpsides, besides the core '53-56 trucks. Also a fridge or two. I saw some of our g...

Boy, you know I can really be kind of dumb sometimes. This is going to be a new series for them, so I really shouldn't say too much about what the format is going to be. I probably shouldn't have even said as much as I did. I know to Google stuff, and that works real good, but I was hoping one of yo...

I'm writing a '53-56 F-100 book — help!

Hey you guys I've been asked by Cartech Books to write a book on '53-56 Ford F-100s. What are some good websites for researching these trucks?

Thanks,

John

Oh man, you poor guy! I know the feeling, but on a much smaller scale. For my second car I wanted to buy the neighbor's '57 Del Rio wagon with a 312 for $12.oo. That's the amount the junkyard would pay for something that didn't run — My dad wouldn't me buy it, and although he made up for it a thousa...

Yeah, that's the problem I really am an addict. I don't have the money, but I've been scrambling to see what I can dump for cash. I like cars, but spent most of my life driving a pickup. My '65 F-250 for 23-years. It's just that this thing is so darn cool. Thanks a lot for the input you guys — JC, a...

'61 Starliner basket case tempting me

I've got no business thinking about another car of all things, but I ran across a '61 Starliner project. It has a built 428 with a C6. I can get it for around 7-G's am I nuts? Please tell me these are worth big-dough, or I'm an idiot and it's not worth the power to blow it up.

Thanks

Yeah, as it turns out the young feller named Amanda with the queer ideas is actually a girl. In this day and age of sexual equality I'm sure she wouldn't want to be treated any different than a young man, so I'll stick to my original description as her being an idiot. I did get back onto CCT's forum...

Nope sorry I don't have the time, but I'll point you in the right direction. First buy a welder, any old arc welder will do, and then go talk to the helpful folks at Home Depot. I suggest the plumbing aisles for locating galvanized pipe to use for crossmembers and perhaps even one of those cool roll...

Custom Classic Trucks, moron alert!

There's some poor idiot that logged onto CCT's forums inquiring how to graft an '89 Dodge truck to the front of his '66 Ford F-100 shortbed Styleside. Of course with a '68 F-100 identified as a '56 F-100 in CCT's features section, I guess the guy went to the right place. ... Where do they come from?

I'm about a 100 miles from Mexico where it hit. I was taking a nap; At first I thought the cat had jumped on the bed, then maybe the old lady, and then horrifically the plus sized inactive woman from down the street — Boy was I relieved to find out it was just a 7.2 earthquake.

I thought maybe Jim might get a kick out of that. I don't remember if I told him I was going to run his truck in the story or not. Anyways Chris and I had a great time at that show, and it was good to meet Jim too. Welp, I better get writing on this story for Street Rodder... something about some ki...
