Re: Budget bagged 65
I don't know if the video works but I have 7 inches of travel and very little camber issues. This is on my shop compressor as just a test at about 80psi.

Re: Budget bagged 65
I used a technique called "Z'ing" the frame. Basically I cut the frame rails on each side of the front cross member (left & right and also front & behind). Then I raised the section with the cross member 3". This allowed the frame/body to lay all the way down when the front s...

Re: Budget bagged 65
Thanks for some insight.
I don't plan on laying mine out like yours. I just want it low when I want it low. The camber doesn't bother me to much. Most of the time she will a few inches lower than stock height when driving around.
Did you have to channel your cab to lay out that hard?

Budget bagged 65
I'm new to the site but I figured I'd start a build thread. This is my 65 step side with a heavy "patina" hence my name. I plan on leaving the exterior just like this for a while. I want it to drive reliably with a decent bag setup. I have picked up most of my bag parts second hand from fr...

Re: New guy. Pics included and a few questions
Excuse the mess. That's the remains of a billion grinding and cutoff wheels and 52 years of Ohio rust that falls off every time you look at the truck

I sure am, you can email me anytime pauls112@hotmail.comgrump wrote:Ohiopatina, I think I can help you. I'm replacing my rear fenders because they have little rust holes, too many to repair. The part you need seems to be in good shape if you're interested.

Re: New guy. Pics included and a few questions
I was hoping to patch it since I'm keeping the exterior body relatively untouched for now. I don't want to have one brand new fender.

New guy. Pics included and a few questions
I'm from central Ohio and just picked up a 65 F100. I've already dove into it headfirst and replaced the floor pans and flipped the axle and perches. I want her to sit low but I'm not trying to lay frame or anything crazy. It is getting a modest airbag setup. I am keeping the "patina" for ...
