So does anyone have a good source for the copper gaskets in case I can't get them around here? The previous gaskets I used were FelPro but were not copper.
Will have to wait until after Christmas anyway. I don't know if Santa or Obama cost me more this year!
Thanks guys!

Blown Exhaust Manifold Gasket
I have a 352 3 speed in my 66 truck. I have put 3 exhaust manifold gaskets on the passenger side. First time manifold was cracked. 2nd I got another manifold after about 3 days it blew again and was told manifold was warped. Guy sends me another and this time I had it "trued" at a local ma...

Original Seat Covers
I remember posting this before. I just don't remember if it was on this site or another one. Anyway........... My 66 CC SWB is all original (other than grille) and still has the original seat covers, however they are in pretty sad shape ( got some 200 mph tape covering the drivers side ). It has the...

Yeah I'm familiar with the square ones with the woodgrain. The ones I am talking about are the round ones that had a blunt point on each end. Chevrolet had something like them on a few of the early El Caminos I don't know if the Rancheros had them or not. They were mostly for looks, I would not want...

Old Style Bed Rails
Did the 65-66 come out with any Factory Option bed rails? My 2 previous 65 and 66 both had rails that were chrome and were made from round tube with bullet type ends. The brackets if I remember correctly were angled forward. They were probably aftermarket but just thought I'd ask some of the experts...

Strange...we have my wife's 69 firebird insured with Grundy for 17,500 worth of coverage and our premium is like 260.00 yearly for full coverage.

That is a truck I would walk past at a show. I can appreciate the work that went into it but thats about all. It just doesn't appeal to me. I like my truck a whole lot better as is....but that is my taste and not the owners. I didn't contribute any work to the build and he didn't call for my suggest...

Ebay Exhaust Manifolds
Found a "NEW" passenger side exhaust manifold for my 66 352 on ebay from "Your Parts Store".
Was wondering if anyone here has ever used one from there and what quality was like.
Thanks......Steve

O/T....Any Other Street Rodders in here?
Maybe off topic a bit but I use my 66 as a parts chaser for my rodding habit and just wondered if any other members were into street rods too. I am in the (extremely slow) proces of building a 48 Pontiac convertible. Not a rod but my wife has a 69 Firebird and really likes the 66. Steve...ezrodder

Door Trim Clips
Does anybody have a source for the clips that hold the trim that goes around the inserts to the door?
As I said my truck had several things taken apart or from it when I got it and I can't find any clips for this trim.
Thanks guys/gals
