Great! You can put 240 rods in 300 to make it a 240 . Same bore but diff. stroke and rebuild engine. Thanks ,Tony

Maybe loose plug on voltage reg. I removed the connection and made new female connections to install. Stop the light and charging problem. Tony

Rusty63, If engine is rebuild and no cab work under truck, you can redo the engine bay. AZ truck should be real nice underside metal. I go see it , i offer 3000 for it. Truck will not sell for 7000. Sounds to me like you need to lean the Edelbrock 600. They are jetted for perforance. Change the rods from the top of carb.Also slow the secondarys down by a spring change.
