Re: rolled it over
What's really strange is when my truck rolled over to 43,000 miles, The truck had 42,000 when I bought the truck and the speedo worked perfectly. When it turned over to 43,000 it stuck and the speedometer needle started jumping from like 10 MPH to 70MPH the thing just went crazy and the odometer was...

Re: Auto trailer advise
I like torsion axles better than springs. I like aluminum wheels more than steel wheels. Dovetail is a must. LED lights are a must. So much brighter and safer. My ramps store in from the passenger side. Be aware of your surroundings and you will do fine. Think before you park/load. I use a 2-5/8&qu...

Re: Close up of flareside step
I don't have a read close up picture but I think you can see the polished stainless strip right above the running board on the bottom of the rear fender. I didn't have a rust problem but the rear fenders was off a mid 70's pick up and didn't go down far enough to mate up with the running board prope...

Re: Seats
Leeroy, I see the bucket seat truck has a pull handle on the door. I suspect that came off a Ford L series truck. We have owned four of then in the past and still have a few of the grab handles laying around. I use two of them on the side of my semi trailer to pull myself up with.

Re: Did I get scammed on my widsheld?
I bought a new windshield for my 65 and the man I bought it from came out to my house and installed it for 225.00 and he drove over from the next town, of course it was only thirteen miles from my house. My windshield had the stainless trim too. I would say that you were taken advantage of.

Truck and Trailer
I am getting ready for the truck show in Des Moines. I was dreading having to drive all the way back to Texas to pick up my trailer to go to Colorado. I made a couple of minor modifications to my LTL 9000 and decided to pull my travel trailer with it to Des Moines and from there onto Colorado. Probl...

Re: 1966 f100 with bronco instrument cluster
You don't have to change the speedometer gear when you change speedometer. The Bronco speedometer will work just the same as your Slick speedometer. It does sound like you have some issues with all the bouncing and so forth. I can look up what speedometer gear you need. I will have to have you rear ...
