My 92 has a si/do flowmaster clone. But it sounds something close to my 65 with the dual flowmaster 40's.

Basically it's all up to your ears, as to how you want it to sound.

What carburetor are you running? I had a similar problem with a 66 mustang with a 2 barrel. Ended up being the main bowl gasket holding the float shut!

Yep, I know the feeling! My 65 freaks people out, like it's an odidity or something. Take it somewhere to get it inspected, and it's like watching the Keystone cops! :lol: They can't find two things. (1) the ignition switch (That's easy to find) and (2) the clutch pedal..... Mines an auto on the flo...

What kind of bushings are you going with? Rubber or Poly?

You really need to use a little bit of grease on a poly bushing to keep it from squeaking. Also helps things go together much easier.

Since you're going to be driving it, 375-400 is a good power level. The heads will make all the difference in the world.
