Finally Started The 352 FE To 65' 430 MEL Engine Swap
Finally installed the 430. I ended up moving the transmission boss above the starter so I could use the FE bell housing. A few things left to clean up tomorrow. I plan on getting to the exhaust shop this Wednesday.
Never heard this exhaust note from my 65's.

Re: Aluminum intake 352
Looking for a four barrel aluminum intake for my 66 with a 352. Something mild, not radical. It's a stock frequent driver. I have a four barrel off of a 77 460 I want to use. I've been pleased with the mileage and low rpm torque with an Edelbrock SP2P 390 on my 352 65' F-250 4 speed. 4800 was about...

Re: Get it done
In line with Shipwreck and Mr. Jones here. Seems for the most part NAPA is one of the places that still carries repair parts. Brushes, rehostats, miscellaneous bolts, power steering pump rebuild kits, ect. Seems replacing is the popular repair.

I usually stop to help because the scenerio you came across will run through my mind till I do stop. Most of the time it is nothing or they have a phone. At least I know someone won't get robbed, kidnapped or killed when I could have made a difference. Thanks' for posting your experience.

What has happened to this website? I remember when a post would get pushed off the front page after a few days. I just noticed that I was still the last poster to this forum, yet my recent posts were almost 10 days old. I could understand other members refusing to read my babble. It wouldn't be the...

Lack of an onsite photo host probably hasn't helped keep the sites popularity going. A few of us got a reality check using a free photo host. It will happen again down the road unless we are able to post photos directly to this site.

Re: New Member Intro
Hi, I'm Avery. I'm aarons428's daughter, and y'all probably know me or have heard of me. I am the girl that is building her own slick. Right now, my truck is still in the process of finishing it, but hopefully it gets finished soon. My 428 engine that my dad had in his '65 is almost finished. My tr...

Re: electronic ignition choices
I have been mulling over upgrading to electronic ignition. I can't determine which of the following two options is best. The little chip that you put into the existing distributor, or the GM-like distributor with the HEI guts. If I go the former, am I supposed to get the hot-shot ignition coil also...

That makes those rare skinny 16" 5 lug wheels look better and better.
EDIT: Just priced my favorite Cooper Cobra 275/60 R15 rears and 235/60 R15 fronts at $800.XX out the door from Discount Tire. From 1993 to 2000 the rears went from $110 to $140 a pair.

Re: How NOT to restomod your slick... Not for the squeamish.
Ive noticed a trend as I have grown older. Personal income and common sense have an inverse relationship most of the time. He hopes to create a rat truck rocket ship, not realizing that a tesla has an aluminum body , low center of gravity and short wheelbase. So all the programing that controls the...

Dang, I suppose that bed can still be saved without too much work. Fab up some appropriate looking fenders with a set of dual wheels. Better a dual wheel F-250 than what ever he was thinking.

Replacing 4.10 Gears In The 1965 Dana 60
I'm looking for part numbers for 3.54 that will fit my 16 spline. Lots of options out there but suppliers can't tell me for sure if I'll get the right parts the first time for this older axle. Who has gone through this and found the replacements that fit?
Thank's
