I love those VT-903's I worked on them for years in the Coast Guard. They are the main reason I chose the Cummings over the International engine when I bought my new truck.

Welcome from Oregon, Mine came with a Olds 330 in it. Not to my liking, but it has more horsepower stock than the stock 292 that was in it. The orignial owner was towing with it and probably burnt it up.

I used a craftsman vibrating plam sander on my ride and it didn't destroy it. Of course the paint was pretty bad anyway. The engine hoist to pull the bed has been used before. Go get a couple of pallets to put the bed on. Looking forward to seeing your progress on the slick.

My 62 Uni had both Aluminum grill and doors, I have no reason to think they were ever changed.
