it's too bad you're not looking for a rear diff, I have a Dana 60 from a '77 f250, and it's a 3:07, but wrong end of truck, and wrong side of the border as well....

Kansas Estate Auction, with a couple Slicks
Crappiest Listing (by Auctioneer) that I've seen, the amount of vehicles in the pics vs the sparse list is laughable, and will cost the family $$, cuzz people won't come if they're not even aware that something they seek is there. The 1965 F100 is a custom Cab, with the killer 240:) It was the only ...

Re: source for new tail light housings for 66
**You didn't mention if this is for a Flareside, or a Styleside?? Below is assuming Styleside: Supposedly, the Bronco tail lights share the same shape, and if you go a year or two newer, they also have a backup light included. That is a positive, provided you don't mind adding the backup switch and ...

Ozzie Members Slick Car Hauler in a Drag Challenge Vid
SO, watched a vid of the 2020 Australian Drag Challenge (Their version of Drag Week), and spotted a Slick 60's member's Car Hauler in the background. Then started looking to see if his Falcon (or is it a Comet?, been a while since I saw it on here) would show up, no luck, but this vid is only Part 1...

Re: Can’t find vin.
Yup, the forward location, which looks easy enough to view in the pic below (from FORDIFICATION) But it can be a PITA when all the sheetmetal is still there:) On my '66, it was basically directly under the lower edge of the inner fenders, took some scouting to find it, and some sandpaper before I wa...

Re: 1964 sb with rear bumper or not?
I know one local lad with a Mercury Bumpside (Styleside LWB). He has the same bumper as in the pic above, but it's been notched on the ends and tucked a bit tighter. It looks good. The downside to this is the leading edge of the center portion, above where the license plate is, is now perilously clo...

Re: 1964 sb with rear bumper or not?
While I have seen some roll pans that looked good, I don't see myself ever going that route, as even a simple blunder by the person parked across from you while they're backing out could result in substantial damage to a Styleside box without a bumper to protect it........ So, no roll pans, or runni...

Re: Windshield gaskets?
The product is called liquid butyl windshield sealer , but a pint is over $20.00, and it is typically put into a small pump handle type oil can, then pumped into the joint. Do a google search using the bolded words above, you'll get plenty of hits. I would normally just paste in my goodle search, bu...

Re: Door Window Anti-Rattle Kit
When theastronaut posted the build of his customer's '66 CC SWB, I remember him mentioning the windshield gasket and many other rubber bits for the glass came from Precision, here's a link, set up form 1966 F-100, but it's easy enough to change using the dropdowns at the top of the page..... https:/...

Re: swap 429 into 64
It's been done, but on the straight axle slicks, there are no later model factory parts to bolt it into your chassis (twin I beam slicks can use Dentside engine mounts), however, the aftermarket has been building a weld in crossmember for years to bolt 429/460 into the straight axle trucks. https://...

Re: Intermittent Wipers Available For Two Speed Slicks
Chris: The intermittent wiper bits and pieces (module and switch) from any Ford Truck 1973 up to 1989 can be made to work, but on some of the later ones, the shaft on the switch will need to be shortened to use your original knob.

Never 100% sure, as some of the colors changed year to year, or were renamed, but that '62 looks like Marlin Blue to me?
