One thing to think about when buying new moldings, is that new will not match old. Untill you have the new ones next to old ones you won't realize how much difference there is. Rich thats a good thing in my case because mine are so beat to $#!+ that they stand out like a sore thumb so if the reprod...

good to know because yes my 66 is an F100, I asked the guy what it came off & he said a '62 F100 so I thought it might work. Well if anyone needs one he's asking $45 I came across it at www.car-part.com item #MJ0883. I will continue my hunt for the regular 3 spoke, I'll post an ad here in the cl...

4 Spoke steering wheel?

I have been looking for a steering wheel replacement for my '66 as mine has one from a late 70s which just looks out of place, I received a reply from an ad from a guy with a picture of this one. I am not quite familiar with the steering wheel options in slicks yet, but most of the ones I have seen ...

Reproduction bed side molding

On my longbed the aluminum trim is pretty beat up and I would like to replace it. Some parts I know I should get from a more reputable vendor like DC who I know sells quality parts, but some parts do come from the same manufacturer as for this part I am wondering which direction to go Dennis Carpent...

Drums on daily driver?

Wants vs needs. I have been going thru alot of the links, questions and writeups on here about the later model front disc swaps & as much as I WANT to have disc's I am starting to question whether or not I need them, maybe you guys can sway me one way or another, my '66 is just a daily driver in...

Good eye! The loading ramp by the tracks seemed like a good spot for a quick couple pictures after leaving the nearby carwash.

Aggraviting rattling, hard to pinpoint.

My '66 longbed (summer daily driver) has been a bit of a rattletrap, I have been slowly been eliminating them, but there is one bad one that concerns me coming from the back half of the truck when I hit any pothole or sharp bump, railroad crossing etc. I thought it was the tailgate & (made a pos...

Stripped window crank splines

On my '66 daily driver both the window crank splines are stripped (on the shaft of the window regular as well as the handle itself.) the screw, when tightened about as tight as it can get only feels like a temporary quickfix. Just wondering if anyone has a fix for this, other than new parts.
