would that be the same case as with a NP435 too?

I've looked for a while but havent found any real definitive answer. My 65 f100 came with a 3 speed on the column. Would a Borg Warner T18 fit if I were to convert it to a floor shift? Or is there anything else that could do it? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
