scour craigslist for "vintage" stereo equipment. i have seen some good prices on all the components you would need to rock the shop to rubble.
That's an awesome idea! On it!

All these new gizwillies you guys talk about I haven't even heard of yet. I still have a rotary dial phone in my living room. This computer is my first major step into the 20th century, nevermind the 21st. Probably be old-school til I die. Fred Don't listen to all the wonderful stories of how aweso...

Rich, I`d forget about getting a CD player and go with MP3 player, we have Sony Walkmen players but thats because I don`t like Ipod!, anyhow!, you use your computer to load the music on to your MP3`s and not your stereo!, then you just get cables with headphone plug on one end and RCA plugs on the ...

Do they not make home audio receivers that are iPod compatible? Or, if you don't need to charge the iPod while you listen can you just hook it up through the headphone jack? I've never owned an iPod or mp3 player so I'm not sure; I only listen to CD's in the car, and the mp3 files I use are on disc...

Quit watching years ago when the father vs son thing went rampant. I like the idea of reality TV but only if they keep it real. I'd rather go file my stinking toe nails than watch drama queens yell and scream at each other to make a buck!

I went through a similar sitution. Wanted an honest to goodness stereo system to put in the new shop. One that would sound like I had the band there. I have converted to MP3's and have 3 iPods, to lazy to try and remember to take them with me so I have one for each of the various places I use them. ...

That is amazing, I wonder if visitors sustain the costs? Wow! Squeak and I are building a model railroad and I restored an old Chicken Coop to build it in. Seems like a futile effort after seeing this.

You're welcome everyone! Turned out pretty nice but I can't take much credit, all I did was arrange your photos, tell it which holidays (could have picked French and made it interesting) and told them to build it. All the work was done at the print shop and you guys/gals taking the pictures and figu...

The calendar was waiting on the door step when I got home today. You did a great job on it. Thanks, glad you like it. I really didn't do a whole lot, it was all the great work on the trucks and the photography that make it nice. Building the trucks is where the work is. Maybe next year we can do an...

My dad sold cars for 35 years and worked in every brand name dealer we had in Australia, when he went into his own yards he sold anything and everything but his personal drive car was ALWAYS a Ford. He insisted they handled km's a lot better than other local products. I have a question on the chevy...
